Type of Class
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is an evolving form of traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga that focuses on integrating breath and movement, awareness and alignment, strength and flexibility. Likened to a dynamic dance, postures or asanas are connected through the breath and accompanied by music for a rejuvenating, transformative, and balancing effect. Previous yoga experience is recommended.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Exploration is an exploratory class in which the fundamental principles and sequence of Ashtanga yoga is presented. In this class you will learn, not only the proper alignment and sequence of the series but also how to work with your breath to flow to blissfulness. Previous yoga experience is highly recommended.

Foundation Yoga is an instructional class in which the fundamental principles of hatha yoga are presented in detail. In this class you will learn the proper alignment of the asanas and how to work with your own body intelligently. Different stages (krama) and variations of the asanas will be taught so you can experience yoga at a level that’s appropriate for you. Suitable for all levels.

Private Yoga instruction gives you the opportunity to work one-on-one with our teachers in the comfort of your own home, or at the Shri Yoga. Each session is created specifically to focus on your individual needs with hands-on instruction throughout. Learn proper alignment and modified postures for your specific body type, address injuries, and deepen your understanding of yoga practice. Private instruction is especially beneficial if you are completely new to yoga or if you have new or chronic injuries.
Level of Class
Level 1/Beginner Yoga: Appropriate for first timers, beginner students, or anyone who wishes to hone their skill in their yoga practice. Learn the basic asanas (yoga postures), breathing techniques, and focus on proper alignment and variations of yoga postures.

Level 2 & 3/Intermediate/Advanced Yoga: Stronger practice builds on skill learned from previous yoga experience. Inversions, more challenging backbends, and arm balances are introduced.

All-Level Yoga: Open to all students. Modifications are provided throughout the class to accommodate students with various levels of yoga experience.
